The XPD Australia race is just underway, and I posted a few updates to the Adventure World Magazine site in the lead up to the start. So far, Orion Adventure is out to an early lead followed by a small pack of teams including most notably Blackheart and a South African team (McCain Adventure Addicts).
This isn't much to get all worked up about, since the teams are racing to an overnight "dark zone" at the whitewater rafting part of the course, and teams will restart at sunrise tomorrow morning with only a few minutes advantage regardless of the time separation on arrival to the dark zone. So think of this as a preamble.
