I'm going to share a few photos here previewing Untamed Switzerland 2010 (you can see the full 15 pics over on Flickr) . . .
Plenty of snow and sunshine; yes, that is a glacier looming at the end of this valley.
The mandatory pic with the Swiss flag and chalet -- can you smell the fondue?
There is a village at the bottom of the valley, that's the end (or maybe the start?) of this particular stage. We haven't decided yet.
We were busy this weekend! We have to keep our eyes on snow levels and the weather, so it's too early to consider the course totally locked-in; we'll have some more fun these next several weeks. Among other items, we confirmed the host for our meal welcoming racers to the end of Stage 1 -- this will be a traditional Swiss meal in a truly breathtaking setting. If you're lactose intolerant or have a cheese aversion, best let me know in advance so we find an alternative for you.
