It's Time To Race Again

Time is running out on me, but I wanted to get this posted before leaving for the Jura mountains and our winter race (the "Snow Raid") this weekend.  If all goes well, I should be able to post updates to Twitter (http://twitter.com/untamed_adv) during the weekend.  We'll see how my meager skiing skills hold up; hopefully there is lots of snowshoeing/running/orienteering!  I used my phone to snap a few pictures from our igloo/ski training; not great quality, but better than nothing!  For the overnight on Saturday, we have to build our own igloo and sleep in it -- so this is certainly very new for me!

This is our mini-igloo; just the right size for me to practice cutting blocks. During the race, my teammate will handle the "brains" of assembling the igloo.

This is my teammate, Christian, who used to lead corporate team building exercises in igloo building (seriously!). Apologies for the poor picture quality.

We had the company of many sled dogs; they were a very energetic companions out there!
