Tick tock, the race in Ecuador is only a few weeks away and it's time to knuckle down and finish up some gear choices. I meant to start this a while ago, but the last few days have been filled with caring for a sick baby -- who is now doing better, thanks for asking.
Honestly, I don't enjoy collecting all the gear and packing for adventure races. But it's a necessary evil.
If you are an experienced racer, and looking to race down in Ecuador this March, let me know because there's a team struggling to fill their 4th roster spot. My Untamed team, racing as the APEX - Alpine Expedition team, is solid but there is another team hustling to get their personnel sorted out. Maybe you'd like to join us and a handful of other very strong Scandinavian and Danish teams making the trip -- wait, is Denmark part of Scandinavia? Anyway, we'll be mixed in with a healthy dose of local racers, so it should make for a very fun atmosphere!
