I've posted maps and some pics from this past weekend; it was really like two 1-day races combined with an overnight camp. We won our group on the first day, but finished 2nd by the end of the weekend after we played it too conservatively on the second day.

I wore the new ultralight Ribz vest for the entire race and it worked pretty well; I need to improve my shoulder strap solution but there's no question the pockets came in handy. I stored race instructions and passport, arm warmers, food, buff, and lip balm in these pockets and never had to stop to dig in my pack for anything.
We used the
Rajd ultralight shelter as our tent and it's compact 2 pounds did the job -- plenty of condensation in the morning, but that comes with the territory and I was well-prepared for it after our Patagonia race experience!
I used a small inflatable sleeping mat (also tried and true from Patagonia) and a
Mountain Equipment Xero 350 sleeping bag that weighed in at 730 grams.
Check out all my photos here.
