Fiola, in her wrap-up of her team's run at the Berserker, wins the prize for the first person to notice the CRUX winter ultra that I snuck onto our event calendar in the last few days. It's set for the end of January and should be fantastic!

More details to follow, but this is an "underground" sort of 50km run with no race staff, no formalities, no entrance fees, and no prizes -- besides the satisfaction of a great day traversing the snow/ice/mountains of the Züri Oberland in mid-Winter. With bailout options along the way, one could make it a 20 km or a 40 km effort quite easily -- thanks to the excellent Swiss train service, nobody should get abandoned in the middle of the wilderness.
Full details will be forthcoming, but for now, I'm off to find a brewery to host our post-CRUX recovery evening!
