Going on 4 years in Switzerland and we've never had a Fall this nice. There's lots of sun to make the cooler temperatures easier to manage; it's been the best September/October thus far for us here and I'm hoping it continues into November.
Some other cool developments, besides the fine weather in Zürich (I don't get to write that often in November -- seriously!):
- We're just a few weeks out from our fun one-day event in the Züri Oberland, come out and get your Fall fix of mountains and navigation -- and I'm thinking we will surely see some snows by November 27th, too, so add in a bit of an intro to winter racing too! Come out, novice or veteran, and get your Zürcher Berserker on. If my wife and I can attempt this with a 6-week old baby in tow, surely you have no excuse not to join the mayhem!
- We're on the cusp of a big announcement here in Switzerland about 2011 plans, so stay tuned for some excitement in the next few days. The Alps, with the towering peaks, lush green valleys, and crystal clear lakes, have been crying out for the race we've finally got cooked up. Several years of successful, albeit smaller, Swiss events combined with some key partnerships have created this opportunity and it's important for us to seize the chance to make this happen!
