2008 Event Schedule (subject to change based on weather conditions)
Day one (Fri. Apr 18) will be on the Mythens, central Switzerland's landmark pinnacles overlooking the town of Schwyz
where the Swiss nation was born. It will feature classic orienteering with considerable changes in elevation.
Here is a photo from up high with the Mythens.
Day two (Sat. Apr 19) will approach
sky running as participants summit Mt. Rigi from the "hard" side and will be rewarded with
breathtaking panoramic views
of Lucerne, the Alps, and beyond.
Here is a photo near the top on Rigi.
Day three (Sun. Apr 20) will center around historic
Mt. Pilatus and the intricate trail system between it and the Vierwaldstättersee. Participants will
almost certainly encounter snow on Pilatus.
Here is a photo of Pilatus from last Summer.
Each evening we'll have a social hour starting at 6 PM where participants can catch up on the
day's adventures; on the evening of day 3 we'll present the prestigous Untamed Revolution Bell to
the overall winner.
